We
offer an extensive wine list of some 45 different wines of differing styles
and origins. Prices start at very reasonable £12-95 a bottle
.
Whether
you fancy a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, French Muscat Sec, Gewurztraminer from South Africa , Riesling from Australia or a wine from our local estate, Sharpham vinyard, you will
find a variety of styles and origins
which we feel offers a comprehensive choice to our customers. There is also
an appearance from the big French fish white wines on our list with Sancere, Pouilly Fumé ,Muscadet and Puligny Montrachet all making a showing.
Due
to the seafood bias of our menu, our list comprises a strong showing of
white wines , however we also have several red wines on our list, a chilled
Beaujolais villages has drawn favourable comments from our customers,
although of course this is available un chilled too! We are proud to be supplied by the two of the
best wine suppliers in the country in Christopher Piper Wines (www.christopherpiperwines.co.uk
) and Brian Coad Wine cellars. Claire Roberts and
Jonathon Dupont have done a fantastic job in alerting us to some great
wines, which now feature on our list.
